Holiday Giveaways at ETS!!!!

This year we will again be drawing names for our Annual Holiday Giveaway! Each week 2 lucky employees will each win a $50.00 gift card for the Champlain Centre Mall. We will be conducting the drawing for 4 weeks starting this Thursday December 13th. Good Luck and remember you have to be out there working to be eligible for this fun drawing.

I was just reading the New York Times and there was a very interesting article that stated how keeping a "gratefullness" journal made some people much happier. On this day when we reflect on the things we are thankful for I thought it was a very nice thought. Rather than dwelling on the things that are missing in our lives, it might be nice to dwell on the things that we have. And remember those who have little.

Did you know.....

....that Christmas is on a Tuesday this year? ETS submits its payroll on Tuesdays soooo the holiday will present a unique problem this year. We are asking that all timecards are in our office NO LATER than Monday Dec. 24 at 9:00am. Your paychecks will be available on Thursday Dec. 27 anytime after noon. The same goes the following week which, of course, is New Years. We'll remind you again and again but I thought it was worth mentioning a little early.

Don't forget to recycle those plastic bottles!!

Saving the world one plastic bottle at a time

Last night I watched a show called Planet in Peril on CNN. It was scary. Regardless of your thoughts on the cause....global warming is something we can't afford to ignore anymore. I believe businesses small and large need to take a leading role in the effort to reduce our carbon footprint. ETS is committed to this cause. Right now we use 100% recycled paper in our printers and fax machine. We recycle all our paper waste as well as plastic, aluminum and newsprint. In the coming months we will go further. Stay tuned for updates on this important issue.

Free Stuff

ETS wants to give stuff away. Ok, really what we want is YOU to work for us. So as an added incentive we have implemented a drawing open to all new candidates. If you've never applied at ETS then c'mon in and sign up. We'll put you to work and we'll put your name in the bucket for the drawing.

Monday Mornings

It's Monday morning....are you on your way to work? If not then you need to get over to the ETS office asap. First, register with us online by hitting the Job Seekers page under the Search Jobs tab. When you do that, make sure to fill out all the information (previous work exp., education etc). Then stop in at 186 US Oval and meet one of our recruiters. We'll get you working in no time.

New Website for ETSjobs.com!!!

Everyone at ETS is so excited about our new website, which went live on Sunday. We've had a new logo and "look" for about a year but it took many months to get the website just the way we wanted it. I'm really excited about our new blog as well. Check back often for the latest news and musings from the entire ETS team.
